Oi familia
it has been another strong week in the mtc. we have gotten pesquisadors that are our teachers. janeiro and andy. its cool cause it almost seems as if real life. they have problems and information about them that we try to adjust our messages to match them. its tough cause all they do is speak in portuguese but it is really helpful and we hope they will get "baptized soon". we also have trc where outside members come in and we teach2 them as well. they speak a whole new language of portuguese haha. our teachers speak a little slower and have some hand motions and also repeat themselves but people in the trc just let it fly. its really tough to pick up on but i know it will come. its going to get harder as this week my comp and i have challenged ourselves to teach in portuguese starting wednesday. this shall be very interesting. i feel like theres so much work to do in the mtc but all i wanna do is to go out in the field. i have a lot to learn. so i got my flight plans to go to brazil. i fly out the 12th at about 1 or something like that. i think i have permission to call home so ill check up on that. and im sorry mom but i am the only one flying out as of now. i am 1 of about 50 missionaries going to brazil and im the only one with a visa. its funny cause a lot people like "hate" me now. haha theyre just jealous. i really hope this will boost my language learning but i am also a little nervous flying alone but God will be there with me and theyre will be no problems at all. the firesides are amazing at the mtc. we have them every tuesday and sunday. saturday night we had a special one for the 4th and we were able to watch the stadium of fire fireworks from our campus. pretty cool but the problem was we stayed up until midnight doing it and we still had to get up at 630. church was way tiring and i passed the sacrament for the first time in a while. we have about 40 in our branch. i almost busted up laughing cause my buddy elder peterson from arizona totally messed up. luckily i held it in. church was super hilarious because as people were bearing their testimonies other people came on over the intercom randomly like a piano solo and people seeing through the glass. the spirit was kind of ruined but we all had a good laugh. afterwards we had a mission conference. everyone in my district fell alseep we were all dead tired and it didnt help that the meeting was 2 hours. on sundays we also get the opportunity to walk around the temple. i have a bunch of good pictures but ill have to figure out a way to get them to you guys. mom yes i would like all the stuff i couldnt take on the plane as well as a laundry bag and my return of the quack shirt. also i love your guys emails but it would be amazing if you could dear elder me cause then i could read them at nights rather than cramming them into my 30 minutes on mondays. congrats to the mansiuses. thats awesome. i feel like theyre are apart of the family. i love you guys and am so glad your summer is going well. good luck with court and erics wedding hopefully ill hear from them soon. i got the suit and umbrella. wore the suit yesterday and got a ton of compliments on it. everyone has been telling me that im gonna get super tan and look like a brazilian so im looking forward to that haha. now just the language. the work is going forward strong. theres so much to learn here and im just trying to take it all in. i love the spirit. we have learned that without the spirit there is no conversion. we can teach the pequisadors but the only way they can know it is true by praying to god and asking for it. my district is amazing and i am really going to miss them but i know that going to brazil know is going to be a huge blessing for me. keep on going. i love all you guys
